Advise on injectors
« on: March 14, 2007, 07:33:10 PM »

I was finishing my build and started thinking about fuel injectors.  As far as I know the fuel injectors are stock.  So, I'm looking for advise.  Here's my build:  '02 103 CI, 10.5:1 compression, slightly worked over Screaming' eagle performance heads, S+S 626 gear drive set up, SE roller rockers, RB racing 2-1 exhaust, 50mm throttle body w/ matching intake, Force wind air clearer, and Harley race tuner.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.  Thanks

If you bought a new HD 50mm Throttle body, it already comes with larger injectors, not stock size injectors. If that's not what you have, nevermind. You still need an answer, but you should provide more details on the TB you have. Hoist! 8)

I agree, if it came with injector they should be able to provide enough fuel to handle the airmass of the 50mm throttle body.

I believe that the application for the HD 50mm TB is ’06 and later. I installed one on my ’02 and had to replace a number of electrical connectors on the harness as well as a pin assignment at the ECM connector to address a polarity issue with the IAC.

Some one stated that the stock injectors can handle up to 120 HP?  That doesn't sound right to me, but what do I know.  Thanks
