The new SEUC has no "Familiar" yet other than "The New Bike". Now on the other hand My ol' SHUV has so many that it would tire my fingers to type them.  :P

Another day came and went and no one called from the dealership to say "Chris I have great news" well you know the rest. But, late this afternoon I told my wife Karen that I was really hoping to make the 5 hour drive to pick her up Saturday and she came back with a good one. She said what are you going to do make love to this bike all the way back, so it hit me the only Obvious name after that "The Mistress" what a perfect name. Thanks Karen.

I bought my bike and had my wife with me as I was bringing it home on a trailer. She wasn't real happy that I was buying a bike and she finally gave in when she found out I had made a deal and all I had to do was pick it up. She was leaving for a week long trip and had told me in the morning "I might as well see what it looks like in person since you'll pick it up when I'm gone" Years of training has paid off.

On the way home she was looking out the back window and proclaimed it's new name "The Green Goblin"

I can live with that since I call her white Escalade "The Ice Cream Truck"

Hey, why should your wife be a little unhappy about you buying the "Green Goblin" she drives an Escalade  :P  Actually, I totally get it, the same goes on at my house also.  Maybe my wife will come up with a name for the SESG on my ride home............hopefully its PG and I post it  ;D

What did you name your bike and why?
« Reply #161 on: July 04, 2012, 11:56:57 PM »

Not sure if there is a thread for this already but saw where Guy named his redrum, so here's mine,

Please be patient, Seeing how we spend so much for theses bikes and always add more we liken it to having a mistriss. So anyhow we were watching the comedian Dave Chapell and he was talking about wearing a hat in a strip club and he was told to take it off, so he was saying he could shove dollars up a strippers you know what but could not wear a hat, So he says here you go "Bubbles". So from there it kind of stuck, always throwing money at my Mistriss Bubbles.
Just not sure about a Tattoo with Bubbles yet.So here is Bubbles.

To get the thread going again - a lot of new members including myself in the last year!

Montanakid deserves the credit for resurrecting the thread though - he started a new post this evening, though I'm sure it may be moved.  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=75607.msg1035535#msg1035535

Heres my bikes story.......

I figured my little lady would be pissed if the name was associated with any other girl in my past/present life besides her, so the search continued.

On a nice long day trip with friends, the name for my bike emerged.  One of the couples on a bike following me mentioned that the sun reflecting off the paint on my ride was so bright.  His wife said that it was hot!

The group already new that I was searching my soul for an appropriate name.  My last bike was traded in without a name, and I swear this is why the electrical gremlins attacked it with vengeance.

By the end of the trip, the hot bike was "Cali", short for Caliente!!!  It seemed to ring true, and it is so!
