Got "Ol Blu" back today.
A good tune and a few other things taken care of.
She's ready to ride!

If I didn't already have one, I'd want one really bad after seeing those pics! :smitten: :love_1:

B

There were three things that eventually led to me buying a SERG.

1)  Knowing how fine of a bike Otis the bike was (is).

2)  You buying yours. (you just don't know how long or how many times I looked at the pics of yours)

3)  Doing demo days at the Harley shop over the summer and they giving me a R/G to ride.
(after the last demo ride I asked Nancy to take it for a spin, after riding it all she could say was WOW)

I have spent years thinking I don't like those fixed fairings. No more! I have been converted.

The silver and black Classics, a SERG or a SEEG are all the choices I need!

I may have already told this story on here, not sure, but I did the demo days at the dealer in Peoria a couple years ago now.  One of the techs led the group on a Buell and then there was another guy demo-ing a Buell and then me on the '06 ( guess it was) Road Glide followed by a bunch of others on whatever else they had to ride that day.  Well, the two Buell guys got to mixing it up a little on a stretch of twisty two-lanes that was on the route so I pushed the Road Glide some and thought, "D@mn, this thing handles GREAT!"  Then, we headed onto the interstate for a stretch and on the s-curve style on-ramp, they were virtually hanging off the Buells but I was right behind them.  When we got back to the dealer, the tech smiled as he pulled his helmet off and said, "You didn't have to try to keep up!"  I said, "Hell, I wasn't trying, I just did?!?!" :nixweiss: ;D

Road Glides are sweet ridin' bikes and I did not forget my own test ride at demo days when I was drooling over what is now my SERG! :2vrolijk_21:

Headpan62 it was with your help that I was able to convert this bike to a carb. What a difference. :2vrolijk_21:

I have my own homemade air on the bike. I have the air dumped in the pictures. When it is in the riding position I air the bike all the way up so I don't drag the bags in the corners. My bags were close without the extensions, now they are REAL close. I have considered making corners brackets like one would find on a wooden crate. LOL I was looking through my pictures of one with the bike aired up, not a single one.

The motor is as HD delivered it sans the injection. I have a set or ported heads with bigger valves here, roller rockers, adjustable push rods, gasket kit and some assorted small stuff. I don't want to mess with the bike as it works well as is. Hot rodding my Bagger makes me laugh after coming off of a 252hP Hayabusa.

My stock wheels have since been powder coated red! I had them on my beater bike for a short time.

Before the fender and wheel change.

My current wheels.

How it sits now.

That my friend is by far the cleanest and sharpest CVO Road Glide I've ever seen. In the photo and in person :o

Great Job Otis [smiley=2vrolijk_21.gif]

I'm assuming the bike behind yours is Ol' Maudie....Things never change do they. She's bringing up the rear again [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] ;D ;) [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I resemble that remark.  You, and OTIS, are both delusional.  :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: Later--HUBBARD

No claws BB!

Didn't think about a front picture.
Sitting on the lift there is only about two feet between the lift and the bench.
Not enough room for a picture.
I will get one Wednesday sitting in the driveway!

You cheap bast**d.  Why don't you buy you an enclosed trailer?  :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: Later--HUBBARD

Was looking at the SERG and wondering, , , , should I remove the fork leg reflectors?

So I went to this thread and counted the SERG's with out the reflector.

Out of 14 pages of pictures there were only three bikes that didn't have a reflector on the legs.

Otis's bike, Puzzled's and one other.

So what's the vote?  Leave it or take it off?

I even looked at Brian's bike and he still has the reflector.
Are going to leave yours on Brian?
