Can a half breed get in on this?

Chains, there's so many threads that bike fits on you shouldn't worry about where you post it, just keep posting about it - - including new pictures. If I'd have been three inches shorter and 100lbs lighter, I had sold every bike I owned at the time to give Mr Pitt the $40k Randy was asking for him. I am still fascinated with the concept as is everyone on this site that every posted about a V-Rod powered Touring Bike (even those who won't admit it) If we had a thread for Steal of The Year on bike buys, you'd be in the lead by a couple miles.

Thanks, You know the more I find out about what it took to put this bike together, I half to pinch myself to make sure it is not a dream.  It turns out, I did indeed get the deal of the century, I love it, it draws more attention than any other Harley I have ever owned and I have had some kick A$$ bikes, even got my picture taken with Willie G and Miss Harley in a show in 1989.  This bike takes the cake, you can put the instruments up on the screen and change their style and color to suit your mood for the day. Finally like the rear view camera, I thing cages think I am watching a video, they seem to look dumbfounded when they see images on the screen.  Going to take a bunch of pictures of the rear with the bags off so you can see the extensive chrome job hidden by the bags. I will post them this weekend.  This is indeed what HD should put together at sometime, either as a Batwing or Roadglide or maybe both.

          Had not heard the expression until last evening watching The Apprentice. Seems I've got a "man crush" on your motorcycle  :D :D :D :D

I thought I knew every single piece on that ride including the chrome swingarm etc, but I was not aware of the backup camera No, that doesn't sound right, how about "don't hit me in the ass camera "  LOL  There's just no way to overstate how much you got for so little. The sound system alone was over $5k at the time plus the electronics you mentioned and - - - well the list is endless. Something else you might not know. At the time that ride was built, Randy's head wrench was a guy by the name of Andre. Andre was known as one of the best all around H-D wrenches in San Diego. He more than anyone did the mechanicals on that bike. (Randy did the design and engineering) The thing is if Andre built it, it's solid as a rock.

{quick sidebar - - -I believe the story goes that Pitt had the bike built for himself and Jennifer Anniston and when that went poof, he (or maybe Angelina) did not want the bike anymore.}

 Ok, back to Andre. Andre got a bit tired of wrenching after a 20 year career and went to work selling motorcycles for San Diego H-D. He was doing well, made top salesman and was given GM status at their downtown location. Well he did something those of us who know him never figured he'd do. Too many beers and crashed - - badly. After healing up for the last year and 1/2, he's opened his own shop here in Dago. If you want, I'll find out how you can contact him, but as you've already seen Randy knows the bike from A-Z having sourced every single part on it and overseen the build. Anyway, just a bit more history for you since from your post it seems you'll be doing a lot of talking to folks about your ride.

Actually, I have the receipt from Streetnoyz, their cost to Randy on the build for the stereo and camera was over $7,700.00.  It never ceases to amaze me how great a deal I really got.  I bet Andre knows who made the wheels, would love to know.  Also still looking for that mysterious Hot Bike Bagger issue from 07 that had the bike in it.

Will update as time permits, have to work the weekend, customers coming in tomorrow for a tool runoff that may stretch to Sunday.  Thanks for you help on the background of the bike.

A good measure of how great you think a deal is can usually be determined when you attempt to sell that item.

Chip you are correct, I assure you, if I do at some point in time decide to sell the bike, it will not be through e bay. It will go to Barrett Jackson.  I do not believe e bay is the place to market a bike of this nature, nor are local adds unless you live somewhere other than a small city like I do.  But then again, no plans in the near future to sell it.

Nice sunny Jan day.
A day that calls for a ride on the SERG.
So back home I took a couple pictures.
AND FINALLY, took a picture where the stripes line up.
