Another shot from this weekend  (can't beleive I screwed up the composition and cut off the mirror   :nixweiss: )

Not that I want you to see how dirty my bike is, if you've got a REALLY big monitor, here's the original file (don't forget to click on the picture when it automatically resizes to fit your browser): http://ibmike.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/SERG/GoG-and-Rockies-6-of-7/1219872408_vndrC-O.jpg

That is only a 6.58 mg JPG... if you think that is amazingly clear, you should see the 68 MG TIFF file Photomatix Pro kicks out!!
Crusty, Do those driving lights actually light up the road or are they to make you more visible to cars? Rod

On the subject of Form AND Function coming together, Kuryakn makes a spotlamp kit for the RoadGlide that replaces the stock turn signals. Basically the same thing as what you get with the spot/turn signal set-up on an Electra-Glide. If you feel you need driving lights on your RG, give em a look.

If they work probably the best place for them. Never liked the looks of them on the axles.

Not many options out there for fork lights.  My Chromehead CL has a set of motos and I guess they're OK.  They don't really stand out and say WOW!

I looked for something else for the SERG.  KURY's catalog says their 5008 Fork mounted lights will work on all RGs.  They match up appearance wise with the signal lights with Kury LEDs.  So, I bought a set about a year ago.  BooHoo, the catalog is wrong.  They don't work on all RGs.  The mount is built for the narrower standard fender with it's offset brace and won't work on the '09 SERG fender.  Must be time for a custom built mount.
