The Custom Dynamics Modulator has various modes so you can choose the flashing you want.  There is also a product out there called a Wig Wag.  If you look in the SERG board, you'll find a video posted by Jim Kerr about it.  Very similar.  Enjoy!

That was a few years ago but I recall Jim saying it took some wiring.   I would think I would be updated by now.  I researched the Custom Dynamics model some time ago.  It seems like the way to go.

I agree Custom Dynamics is the way to go. Very easy plug and play install.

For ease of install I would go with the Custom Dynamics Plug and Play. The WIG WAG you have to cut into the wiring.

Custom Dynamics is the way to go.  Simple installation and it works!

I installed the wig wag on my 09 SERG some time ago. It's a great system however it does take a little cutting into the rear harness... not too much trouble if you can cut and solder.  Cars seem to keep a farther distance behind me at stops after installing them.

However the custom dynamics sounds like a better option for simplicity and I'm going to install that on my new 13 King   8)

I will order one for the 12 SERGC.
Like Mike said, AGAIN this site has cost me money.

Neal...I've been running the CD Magic Strobe on mine for over a year now and really like it.  I also replaced all my turn signals and taillight with their LED's.  The modulator is plug and play...I installed it either on top of the ECM or in that proximity with some double sided tape.  You might also take a look at their Ringz which provide both white LED's for the front turn signals, and amber.  Gives a little more visibility to the front end for those cagers.  All plug and play and very easy to install.

I also have the WigWag and love it, very easy to splice into the brake/turn signal wires, only took me 15 minutes to wire and install and I hate to do electrical work. I also have found the cars do stay further back when it's on.

I just installed mine last nite. Custom Dynamics magic-strobes-ss8

Took longer to take the seat off then it did to install it.

Looks great too with 7 settings.

What patterns are you using with the MAGIC-STROBES-SS8 from Custom Dynamics?

Which connector do you splice into on the Road Glide?

You don't splice anything. You unplug the rear light harness and plug this unit into it. A monkey can do it!

The plug is on top of the fender under the seat

I'm using pattern# 5. Quad strobe, solid for 1 second, quad strobe, solid for 3 seconds and then It repeats

Just awesome!

Is it a pretty clean fit? :worthless:

Also, how does it work with the turn signals.  I have seen some flashers that make the signals somewhat confusing.

Thanks!

I don't know how to post a video but it works fine. Very clean install too. It's all hidden. Under your seat.  One zip tie and some 3m double sided tape for the controller and away you go!

Thanks, I appreciate the pic.  It looks like a pretty clean install and doesn't take up too much space.

I was curious if the signals (When using the brakes) had a good separation.  IMHO I like the four flashes and then solid for several seconds.  The strobing reminds me of a flashing from a loose wire connection. :nixweiss:

Looks like I have found my next purchase!

Jr1000s comment about taking longer to take the seat off is no joke! It's the easiest mod you will find and the video of the effect doesn't show the true quality of the light.

You will be happy - enjoy! :2vrolijk_21:
