Ultra Limited. This view on the CVO will have more chrome. Did they really keep the air temp gauge?

Yes they did. But it's no longer called the rain gauge. It is now the "analog nostalgia indicator."

They were going to change it to an actually-useful oil temp gauge... but they still had a lot of air temp gauges they needed to get rid of...
Oil temp gauge probably will be a $299.99 "upgrade"... $349.99 in chrome... with a plastic bezel...

And just a fuel and air temp gauge?? Did they lose the voltmeter and the oil pressure gauges??

MJ, I think it's fuel gauge to the left of the speedometer and voltmeter to the right of the tach. All the other functions post through the information/radio display screen.

Will come in handy when riding down the road & I need to boil an egg.

Is that an Hydraulic reservoir on the left side of the limited? Hydraulic clutch on the 103 now? May have been discussed on other threads but I just noticed it. :nixweiss:

Good catch, Howard! Not easy spotting that one black on black! Two points!

Looks like hydraulic clutch for all the touring from what I just checked on the website. Didn't look at the Dyna/Softail lines yet....gotta go home and MOW!

Better learn hand signals if you go with removable TP
Did anyone notice that the regular Ultra and Ultra Limited have no rear lower signal lights? Rear signal light must only be in the tourpack.

Looks like the lower turn signals are in the filler panels. Kinda like a Street Glide but not frenched in, looks like they have a chrome frame.

Nope. It's just a void.

Why would they put those big holes back there??? Looks pretty stupid...

The difference between the outdoor photo and the indoor staged photo of the Stardust Silver and Autumn Sunset make it look like an entirely different color!
The outdoor photo is quite orange and sparkling, but the indoor staged shot makes it look like a dull red!
Why does the MoCo continue to have these AWFUL staged shots of the colors? They make the bikes look terrible, and the colors aren't even CLOSE to reality. I can understand that they don't want reflections... But the pics makes everything look dull.
My bike looked hideous in the staged shots, too.
Ken
Here's the pretty outdoor shot...
-
And here's the DULL indoor staged shot... DIFFERENT COLOR ENTIRELY!

Agreed.
Answer:So Harely can sell the painted or chromed filler panels that should have been on the damn thing in the first place.
-

Ken
And in person it will not look so much like either one, probably will look a lot better.
-
Not too hot for the color choices or graphics :confused5: plus the addition $$, these damn things are getting awful close to $40,000.00 for what is considered by many still an unfinished product!

I looked at an Ultra limited today and it has so much of the same equipment that my CVO Ultra has that I am really starting to wonder just what do we get when we bump up almost $13 grand to go from a limited to a CVO?
110 engine, more chrome, chrome wheels, heated seats and special paint?
They both have all led lighting now, same sound system, same hydraulic clutch, same security system, same cooling system, same brakes.
Really makes me want to just wait a year or so and pick up a used limited cheap!

What's really interesting is that you can get the absolutely LOADED '14 Limited with the two-tone paint for LESS than the bare-bones '14 SERK with no audio, no fairing, no Tour Pak, no lowers, etc! That's pretty mind-boggling... and the extra 7 CI, Agitator wheels, and CVO paint don't even BEGIN to make up the difference in creature comforts.
Plus, the 103 is a pretty solid engine in comparison to the 110 and its checkered history...

For those BSR that go to sleep sometime (like mine) that may be helpful in keeping them from helmet butting us when we apply the brakes. :D :D

This IS very pretty indeed! I really like that color combo. Congrats!

The colors on the web site aren't even close. What looks like orange is really more of a copper color in person and both colors have a very heavy metallic flake. Looks great in person even better in the sun

Jay. What windshield is that?
