Hey Howie - the scoot is looking v cool. Even I have to admit that those hard buckets look pretty darn fine.

Maybe after you have finished doing all the work you should take it to show the MoCo so that they know what a real SE bike should look like and run like !

Hey TN, I already have a set of used bags, so I need to paint everything. Are you starting with the pre-painted bags you mentioned? My painter planned on painting the flames and doing the pinstriping, but we're not sure about the Marbling either. It'll be interesting to see what each painter comes up with. Keep in touch so I can see what you did. I can't even get into this guy until the end of the month, earliest. He's a busy guy, but should be worth waiting for. Hoist! 8)

Actually the leafing is real leafing, not marbling graphics.  See your owners manaual page 149.  I guess why these are special.

The flames are leafing. The small areas within some of the pinstriping is marblized. There's both. Hoist! 8)

Thanks Joe, me too. I'm waiting for my painter to finish some bikes he was doing. I'm also still trying to get a handle on the Black Ice paint. If not, I'm doing it in Vivid Black. I can bareley tell the two apart. I think with nice graphics, it won't matter too much. I'm dying to see what this guy came up with. Hopefully it will be done this month sometime. Still hoping I can find someone who can get/find the Black Ice paint!

Who makes those flamed latches anyway? My painter is "Freddie the Flame", so I'm sure I have an idea of what he might do. Those will probably go nicely! Thanks for the reminder Joe.

Thanks d00d. I saw those, but there was another billet one I recall seeing. Maybe Pro 1? There's probably loads of them out there. I haven't looked around yet. So little time, so much to do! ;) Hoist! 8)

Someone here (can't remember who) removed the black portion of this to make it all chrome which gave it a different/better look.
