was told new design does not require one ??  because it is now a synthetic element or something!! ordered one anyhow. :nixweiss:

Those dealership folks continue to amaze with their responses to questions.  Plain and simple, Harley chose to save a couple bucks by eliminating the rain sock.  It still does come with the kits they sell to add the Heavy Breather to bikes that don't have it stock.  I guess they didn't think they could afford to keep including them in the bargain basement prices they charge for that new bike these days.  :rolleyes3:
