you were missed

thanks for the condolances, guys......she had a good life of 89 yrs.....rode harleys, flew airplanes, and always looked good, right to the end.  Her mind was good but the heart finally wore out and she's in a better place now.  I'm gonna miss her, but glad she's free of the suffering.  I'm gonna enjoy a much needed putt on the screamin' eagle tomorrow.  Gonna be 80 degrees and all sun!  :divers009: :vrolijk_3: :sunny:  har!  spyder

thanks Bill and Q!  I need to figure how to navigate this new and improved site and catch-up on what's been going on.  Is there a way to see the 10 most recent post as before?  And when is the next GTG that's gonna pull in most of you guys/gals?  I'm not gonna make Myrtle Beach....too many loose ends to tuck in, but I'm looking forward to seeing y'all down the road before too much longer.  I know there's a lot of 'bling' and stuff that you all have added to those fine looking CVO's and I'm just needing to 'catch-up'!  har!  spyder

My sincere condolences on your Mother, Spyder.  Been there and done that back in 2002, myself.  I tell folks to be glad to have had those fine people in your life for as long as they were.  It took me longer than I would have thought to tie up all the "loose ends" but just be patient and allow some time for yourself.

Understood, buddy.

Bootsy and I will be in the MV area for a few days over the July 4th time period and would love to see you, even if just for lunch or something.

As far as catching up, unless you've got a few months to read, just go ahead and block all of Hoist's posts, 'cause there ain't no way you're going to be able to read all his!!  We're all getting a week long break from his WFO fingers  ;D  Enjoy the hiatus while you can.

Thoughts and prayers are with you Spyd.

Our Western GTG is in Nelson in July, the link is in my signature. Great turn out too, over 70 people are signed up.

I think we all understand the need to catch up on the new site navigation, Neal really added some stuff to it with the new changes.

Hope your ride was great and gave some time to blow out the cobwebs a bit.

My good friend, both Jamey and I send you condolences and many wishes for you finding your own version of peace.  We've each lost one of our parents and it is not easy.  We have truly missed you.  Re catching up on the board?  With an average of 400 posts a day, I can't keep up if I visit daily, so don't know how one catches up on all, but ya gotta know that Don has a whole new powdercoated, diamond cut engine with a tan ostrich seat and a million other due dads.  Terry has new wheels.  Q has a whole new bike.  Chip has a new chopper, a bunch of folks have added bigger cams, a lot of the new 110 engines are blowing up and a lot of the 2006 bad paints have been replaced.  A bunch of great new members have joined and seem to be finding a way to pull up a chair and fit right in and all is great.  If you hit the "Mark All Messages As Read" button, you will be able to follow the newest posts by the Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
right at the top of the board, and reserver the crawling through old stuff when you are real board this winter.

We really, really did miss you -=-=-= A Lot.  Welcome back.  Enjoy your rides.

YOu guys are the greatest!  I've got to leave this computer, 'cause I'm burning sunshine and need to put this face in the wind.  But, thanks Terry, Bill, D00d, MrsWeCvO, and all......those links/tips will help.  And somehow none of the 'updates' MrsWe mentioned surprises me.  8) Har!  spyder

Well, it's been a 'every-day' deal with my Mother since the Christmas night.....and I haven't had time to attend to much else.....no scooter activites, or the emotional strength to do much else.  I buried my Mother yesterday with great relief after the struggle she's had.  So, now maybe I can put some miles on one of these hogs and get my head clear one more time.  This site had changed, and it's gonna take this ole road-dog awhile to figure out how to navigate it, but, I'm looking forward to 'catching up'.  :2vrolijk_21: spyder

Spydy, so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother.  I understand "relief" because it was truly a blessing when my mother passed because of her struggle.  It's hard to accept, it does take a lot of emotional strength, but it is part of the passage of our lives.

Take care, and we look forward to seeing you back on the site and hopefully in person.

Happy and Safe Trails,

Bootsy
