US Navy 78-82 Active Service 82-84 Reserves at Andrews AFB. Got out as an AMH2, last orders were at NAS PaxRiver,Md. Was onboard TAD on the USS Nimitz in 1980 & USS Enterprise 1981. Jet Fighter Mechanic working on A3's, F4's & F14 aircraft.

Air Force 67 - 93, currently government contractor of 16 years working for the AF instructing aircrew members how to fly the B-52.
Assignments as follow:
Colorado, Vietnam, Michigan, New York, California, Panama Canal Zone, North Dakota, Washington, England, Greece, Japan, Germany,  Hawaii, Spain, &  Louisiana.

Retired USAF - did 26 years total active and reserve. Too many assignements to list here...but was a proud participant in the SEA wargames...Special Ops crews......we owned the night (well most of the time)  :bananarock:

Eight years, one month, and one day in the United States Navy.  But  who's counting.  I spent two years in schools, four years on a couple of submarine tenders, and two years building missiles up in Washington State.  And then an old retired chief who was now working for a contractor asked me if I wanted a job fixing all the missiles I broke in the Navy.  As the Navy said I was only qualified to fix toasters, I took him up on the offer and have spent the last thirty years working on missiles and all the gear that goes with them.  So I am still working with the white hats, still working on ships (occasionally) and still proud to have served.
