Non chlorinated is the healthy choice of brake cleaners.
Just be sure to spray it onto a clean preferably white rag, a colored rag will bleed the dye onto what you are trying to clean and over spray can eat plastic and clear coats. My shop wall clocks plastic face was dirty and I wiped it with a rag sprayed with brake clean, it ate the plastic so bad with 1 swipe I had to take the cover off and throw it away.
Very similar to dry cleaning chemical products. If you have some oily greasy finger print on fabric you get most of it off by spraying brake cleaner onto a white rag and lightly brushing the area using a different part of that rag with each pass.
