How many pages back are the pics Dude. When Twolane posted all the stuff about his bike he kept postin the pics so we didn't have to chase around the thread looking for the visuals.

Just seeing if you're out there brother. Seems like the site has been a wee bit boring the past few days. Figured maybe I'd poke somebody and liven up the place. Had to poke someone who could poke back or I'd be gettin nasty grams from the Moderators.

Hey B B, I thought it was me! You noticed that too, huh? Yeah, a little torture sure livens things up! ;D P.1 of this, reply 5 shows the lower tree stuff. If you look close, you see the seam. I think there'll be too much chit going on with that baffle too.

[highlight]If I keep posting I'm sure to piss somebody off! That should entertain you for awhile! ::[/highlight]) Hoist! 8-)

That's the worst of it Dude, you go from being an a$$hole to one of the site eccentrics and all of sudden what used to piss people off amuses em. That's why it ain't fair the mods won't let us pick on the newbies any more. Nobody to eff with. What fun is that ?  By the way, on a more serious note, when/if you put some Chubby's on that new SERK of yours, you have to toss that chrome lower triple tree plate in the ash can because of the Goodrich brake line T you need to connect the new Barnett braided brake lines. Sooooooooooo if you're planning on installing some 8,10 or 12" Chubby's in the near future, this whole thing you're puttin yourself through now is gonna be wasted effort.

Yeah I know, can't even pick a fight with YOU guys anymore. Man I'm gonna be a toothless dog if I don't get in some practice once in awhile. Where's Twolane when I need him. He's always a good sparring partner.  ;D

Actually, they're just crappy covers that I never used before. The lower cover comes stock and I wanted to see what that bracket cover looked like. I'm not sure I'm even keeping it on. The SERK also has larger, internally wired bars that are actually comfortable, albeit a little short. I'm not sure I'm changing them yet even thought I've run Dyna WG bars on all my RK's. Let me get my bike running right while I blow away my w.....ty, then I'll think about other stuff! ;) Hoist! 8-)

BTW, who said I wasn't still an a$$hole! ::)

Well Hoist, my buddy from Tulsa is coming down to Big D  [smiley=cowboy.gif]tomorrow with my SERT and K&N element.  I"ve finally found enough dry hours to get to 500 miles so it appears a dyno run is in my future..., very near future [smiley=orange.gif].  The local dealer here charges $68 for a dyno run and tune with the SERT.  That sounds uncharactistically cheap to me.  What have the rest of you been paying?

I'm not upset with anybody..., I just found this smiley and had to use it... [smiley=sauer021.gif]

That does sound on the low side. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] I good dyno run/tune will take several hours, and multiple runs/pull on the dyno. Going rate/hour would be $60 - $75/hr X 2 or 3 (or more) hours.

If that's what he's charging for the complete dyno, that's extremely cheap, and probably isn't a full dyno run.  On the other hand, if that's what he's charging an hour, that's not too bad.  My dealer charges $71/hour on the dyno and my dyno tune took 5 hours to do.
Cheers [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif],

Howie, just looking at your pictures again.  It's not an HD part but visit J&P's catalog or some other place and find a set of chrome nipple cover thingies that cover up/dress up those ugly black toggle switches behind the headlight.  I've seen two or three different variations of covers to accomplish that at different times and they're all an improvement over the black toggles.

Howie, oh Howie, don't ask me to supply you the "Road King List."  I've got it from my last Road King and have even improved it some since selling the bike to pre-plan for "someday."  But, you gotta admit, those damn black toggles do stick out a bit.  Face it, the bike has nipple issues!

First things first Don. I received my PowerPacc and Power Vents this morning. Thanks to tigertr71 (TimBone) for a clean S&S Teardrop cover, which should show up this week. My V&H TD's should also be in this week. The S&S SPO's are here already. So is the True-Track. When the pipes and A/C cover arrive, I'll get the bike in for this stuff and installation of the PCIII USB. They also make a multifunction LCD display accessory hub for the PC, which allows multiple maps and map switching for let's say, performance and economy modes, or whatever maps you'd like to switch between. It also has a cool LCD display which can be programmed for different output displays. I think I'll put the PC under the right cover with the ECM, and the Aux PC unit under the left cover. I don't want it on a handlebar mount, as I don't see switching back and forth that often. This device looks pretty slick. I might not install the Aux unit until the 1K mile WOT Dyno-tune, but do plan on it. So the next report should be with this stuff installed and pics to go with them! ;) Hoist! 8)

installation of the PCIII USB.

So you finally picked one?  Is the PCIII your "final answer" after working and speaking with the dyno guy/buddy?  Or might there be different options in the future?
