This time tomorrow Judy and I will be leaving for Key West! Planning on a leisurly pace down Hwy 301 and A1A. We hope to stay off of I-95 as much as possible. Will probably spend Friday night near St Augustine, Saturday night somewhere south of there and Sunday night in Key West. We don't have any reservations, except in KW, afterall, it is spring break!
Will try to post pics in the afternoons BC (Before Coctails).

Have a fun and safe trip. Was down there earlier this month on the bike. We stayed at the Key Motel in Islamorada just south of Key Largo. Mom and pop place on a canal. We went down 441 and 27 from just north of Orlando.

Hey07HD110 - Be safe brother. I was there April of 05. I was there on a rental. It was so hot the computer module cooked. I was stranded for 7 hours.
The misses & I were there again January of 06 on a rental. We had a great time. 95 was like a race track. Traffic moved mostly 90 MPH. You went with it or got gobbled up. You know how we see young or foreign drivers talking on phones, putting on makeup or genearlly not paying attention everywhere. Multiply that by 4... Thats 95. There are so many foreigners driving there, I thought we crossed some border. Route 1 had lots of construction with some "gapers" causing a few accidents. Most of the Keys did not have beach access. Bohia Honda state park is a must; beach camping is available and swimming is allowed everywhere. Bikers in the surf... Well, we gotta get wet every now and then Right?
Riding is slow in Keywest, lots of foot traffic. We did a clue scavenger hunt. It was a ass-kicken, drink at every water hole kind of thing. If you're into that. Lock up the scooter at the hotel, and have at it. In case you don't know there are many bars in Key West. Some (mostly the darkly lit ones) are alternative lifestyle at night. Have a Mojito or two for HDHOG1 and have a great time. We can't wait to take some of our friends back.

That is Great Tommy,
I was just down there for St Paddy's Day and rode my bike from SC. Great riding, I used the Turnpike from Ft Pierce to Rt 1 and it saved me lots of time being off 95 and traffic moved nicely. The tolls were a pain but not too bad.
Have Fun and stay Hydrated( with beer)!!!

Talked to Tommy on the phone the other day, but forgot to ask about the pics. :oops: He did say they had a great time and good weather all the way, though, except for just a couple hours of rain!

Well, I've been a little embarrassed to let everyone know what the deal is on the pics.......
On day two we were on A1A running about 60 and I dropped the camera. When I looked in my mirror and saw pieces going in several differant directions I didn't even stop.
Anybody know where I can get a deal on a heavy duty digital ?????

8) TOMMY ITS OK TO BE HONEST ABOUT MISTAKES. WE ALL MAKE THEM. :oops: SORRY YOU LOST YOUR CAMERA, AND YOU CAN REPLACE THAT, BUT THE LOSS OF THE MEMORIES IS HARD TO FORGET. YOU MAY OF BEEN ABLE TO SALVAGE THE CHIP IF YOU HAD GONE BACK AND SORTED OUT THE PEICES. I QUESS WHAT HAPPENED IN KEY WEST STAYS IN KEY WEST. :nervous:

Tommy sorry to hear about the camera biting the dust or should that be eating the asphalt. :( Anyway you had a good time and got to be in the wind. Next time I'm sure you'll have pictures to share.
