Brian, how long a streach is torn up? When we were there last year it started just past that lake on the west slope and went about 15 miles.

Don't know if it's still 15 miles.  If not, it's pretty close to that.  Also, a road that we really enjoyed in that area was Hwy 34 from Estes Park to Loveland.  Great road!

Dis you get a chance to take the back road from 34 at Drake to Glenhaven up to Estes? It's one of my favorites in that area, smaller and more twists than 34, nice views.
