Title: oil cooler
Post by: FLYNDYNA on October 20, 2008, 01:30:15 PM
Anyone found a factory oil cooler fitment yet? If not, how about a really nice looking aftermarket? I am still intent upon getting one and mounting a thermostatically poerated fan to it for stop & go...2007 Dyna 110"...

Here's what I used.  It's a Milwakee Dual Cool and it works great.  But, I don't think you'll need a fan......

Any data to give for how great your cooler works?  The one I'd put on my sporty lowered temps about 10 degrees average.  I'm looking for a cooler for my 07 FXDSE.  Lots of traffic to deal with.  Thanks

10 to 15 degrees at slower speeds, and a full 20 degrees tested at 55 MPH for 20 minutes.

Honestly though, it doesn't help that much while you are stopped, but begins to help quickly once you get moving again.

Hope this helps....
