on the road again ...

as the warranty on my bike ends in June and there was a little loil leakage I got her disassembled, everything checked, bearings changed, flywheel trued and balanced, heads and manifold ported, Hawg Wire installed and BSR-backrest custom built and heated.

So the bike was parts and pieces since December:



Last week my dealer got the last parts:



and Saturday the bike got finally reassembled (they worked overnight on her!):



and as a friendly sun shined on dry and clean roads over Dresden at some 40 F I could pick her up the same day:







Sunday we took her in the mountains and were very pleased:

     

   

           

     

     

     

   

   

now we are ready for the new season  ;)

I can remember coming down one of those roads in the Colorado hills on a spring ride to a corner in the shade that still had snow across the road. Must of had an adrenaline rush for about an hour after that, your pics brought that memory back.

Thanks for sharing your travels, my grandparents were from Germany, hope to get there some day before I run out of road.  Beautiful country and beautiful people.

I am pleased to read that you are back on the road again and can share your experiences with us...So many of us in the US will never have the chance to ride your area so it is a pleasure to be a part in some way...
