Picked up the SERG Wednesday, June 10, 2009  rode to Laconia Friday the 12th and back to the deal on Monday, June 15th for the 1K service    Have over 30K and still going strong

Hey Phil, I'm doing ok. been off work since SWII. Had surgery on both feet and one got infected to the bone.
I Wore a IV pump with antiviotics into a pick line in my arm for 8 weeks.
Two more surgeries later and I am finally healing. Lost my job and will be looking soon for a new place to support my habits.

Where did you get that gorgeous bag speaker setup?  I almost swallowed my cigar when I saw the photos of your bike!  I have the same bike and I have been wanting to upgrade the sound system.  I had been considering going with the Harley bag lids and speekers but when I saw yours I thought they were WAY better looking!  Please tell me where you got them so I can make all my fellow riders here in central Illinois green with envy!

Hey guys. Thanks for the compliments. I purchased the bagger audio lids & I had them custom painted. I copied the scheme from another member who painted his grills orange with a silver hd logo. He told me that he really liked mine once I posted the pictures. They are suppose to be water proof but as I found out in New Orleans they leak! There is a cloth they provide that is suppose to be water proof. NOT! I left bike sit over night in a heavy rain and had about 2 inches of water in each bag. I had purchased some magnet covers and was told they were tested to 70 mpg. The first time I used them and got on the expressway they blew off! I contacted the mfg and he sent me another set which I only use for washing or when the bike is parked. I didn't get any water when riding in the rain but when I let it sit it was not good! I think any painter could do the work but if you want my guy I can provide contact info. I went Thur a web site company but they sent them to a hotrod shop where the work was done. I had an issue where the clear cracked on one lid and I dealt directly with the painter at the hot rod shop. I have his info if your interested.

It's been a long while since I've been around here.  I bought it October, 2011 with 11K miles on it...I'm the third owner.  I put 13K on it last year!  Will probably do another 13-14K this year...hopefully!

I lusted after the '09 SERGs ever since the MoCo came out with them in'08, but I decided to wait since I have two other SEs.

'Pulled the trigger on a Yellow/Charcoal, w/ 2,420mi. this past June on the way to Laconia. The bike only has a little over 10k on it now, as I continue to ride the other two, while we are working the kinks out of The SERG. "I can see a SE Stage III in the not too distant future..."
