Polished tank on black CVO Breakout question, any sun glare off that tank?

How about washing and waxing that tank, problems?

I sat on one in the sunlight and there is a little glare but nothing like how sunlight reflects off of chrome. The metal is just polished with clear shot over the top so you'd treat it like a regular paint job....wax and use a little polishing compound every once in a while to take out minor scratches.

Yeah, I just had them take it out in the sun this evening and it seems all good. Now if I can get them to give me what I want for me street glide I'm taking it home Saturday.

They gave me what I think was a good trade value for my CVO Street Glide ($27k with 6,700 miles), but they took away the upgrade of pipes, tune and free 1k service, but I got cold feet. Problem is I just got Wild1 apes and a Corbin solo seat and now I find it hard to let her go.

I have a black Jeep and I have been using the Turtle Wax Black Box. I used that on my Black Silver BO and loved the results. I think the S100 Wax is a better wax but the pre-wax cleaner and detailer in the box really made the polished metal sections shine, as well as making the black look super deep. I have been caught in hard rains and have over 3000 miles on her and a gazillion bugs (even one bat) so I am pretty anal about the supplies I use to keep it shiny.

The pre-wax cleaner got rid of the swirls from previous quick cleans too.
