yep, the idiot lights come on solid when you start your car to let you know everything is working. I wish the ABS was the same. come on solid, meaning all good, then go out as I move...flashing to me always signals a problem. certainly not a big deal, just a choice they made....took me a few times on my bikes to remember blinking is a good thing
