Hi All
Just a peice of information for anyone thinking of fitting this cover.
Having fitted the chrome inner primary cover and liking the look, decided to fit the cylinder base cover to finish off the chrome look.
Came to fit it this morning and discovered the socket head screw supplied with the kit is too short. This screw replaces the centre crank case bolt between the cylinders(yes the one they have revised and fitted an o-ring as part of the product enhancement). The screw supplied is 3 1/2 inch long(roughly the same as the standard bolt). Problem is there is a mounting 'bracket' that has to be fitted using this screw which leaves it too short . Length of the screw needs to be 4 1/8 inch long. Not a problem as I will pick up a longer screw next week. Thought this info might be useful so if anyone else is going to fit this cover they can get the longer bolt before they try and fit it. This is on a FXSTSSE 2007.

Jon, what cover did you get for your inner primary The cover from Kuryaken? If so how did it fit?

Jon,
Were you able to find the bolt at your dealer or did you get it elsewhere. I assume this is the only issue with fitting the cover to a cvo110?

It's not so much that the bolt is too short (compared to how Mother Harley intended the kit to be used) but rather that the fitment is misapplied. The kit's description specifically says the kit isn't intended for CVO models with the 110 engines. The kit's part breakdown specifically lists the 3.5" bolt. So if someone gets this kit they're not getting anything that's "wrong." They're getting something they'll knowingly have to do something with to make it work.

Thanks for the quick respose. Yes I'm willing to make it and the starter cover I want work (mods required too), but was wondering if the only mod here on the cylinder base cove is the bolt... I'm just assuming the cover itself fits.

Well I went ahead and ordered it. we will see if I can fit it or if I'll have to make an ashtray out of it ;D

All you have to do to make this fit a 110 is get a longer bolt. I got a 4" long one and used a little sealant on the threads like the bolt I removed had on it.
Fits like a charm... here's the before and after. I also added the inner primary cover afterward as well as a new bllet shifter linkage.
