Awesome looking Jim!! Next is the chrome starter maybe  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] ??
Chrome inner really does set it off a whole lot more, and the stainless lines sure clean up the tacky black hoses.

hd-dude,
Looks really nice. The more I see the lights the more I want some, wish you were on the right coast I'd have you put some on my pumpkin. I noticed you have the air wing horn cover (I got one of those for Xmas also) and was wondering where you got the "103" sticker to put on it, I like that.

It actually the 103 emblem that goes in the air wing AC cover (pn 19795-02
), I did not klike it in the cover as much as the stock piece so I made the stock one work over the airwing AC cover. Then I had the insert left over so i decided to cut out the airwing horn cover so that it fit inside. The horn cover was a bit plain without it..

Thanks for all of the positive comments [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Jeff;
The cost to have the starter chromed I would guess to be a couple hundred. I would not do it though because completly stripping it would be a B#tch. HD has one but they get $525.00 for it [smiley=nervous.gif]. It sure would look good in there though [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Keep an eye out on eBay also.  I (finally) scored the HD chrome starter there last week for $185.00  I'd been watching and waiting for a good deal for six months.  So you might have to be patient.....

HDDude, nice accessories, looking real good.

I got my chrome starter for about $80.00.  The dealer claimed my problem with starting my bike was the need for a new starter and they allowed me to just pay the difference and at Christmas time they had a 15% sale off everything so the difference was under a hundred.  I am scared to go back (figuratively speaking here) and tell them that the starting problem is coming back full force, but I just love the chrome starter.

Van, Its the HD inner, pn 60739-01. The only thing special you'll need is a good electric impact wrench to break the compensator nut loose (unless it is already [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]) and the clutch hub nut loose. The primary comes with the new bearing and seals installed.

Road_Glider,
I know what you mean, I think hd_dude should make a cross country business trip, and hook up all of us here with some of those lights. They are awesome, and make your bling bling look even better.

Lets all convince hd_dude to be the travelling light man. Now that would be the ultimate business trip. Heck, if you just made one stop in each state that would be enough

Now that you mention it, the other day wife and I saw a fifth wheel trailer with a ramp door on back. I told her probably was a bike in the back with camper in the front. So there you go, you need directions? :D

Wow Jim, your scooter sure looks great!!! I too like they way you set off the airwing horn cover with that 103 insert! And man them lights really look fine reflecting off the chrome inner primary cover. Awesome!

On your way to the east coast to do Fired00d's pumpkin you can stop across the Mississippi and do my Lil Banana. I'll buy ya drinks of your choice down on Beale street and take in some Blues! ;D

I had the Kurayken LEDs on my bike.  Kept blowing the one behind the horn and they were the wrong color of blue (baby blue) for my cobalt paint job so I had Jim (hd-dude) re-do  my lights and I couldn't be happier.

JC, that's what I have on my bike now (KuryAkyn). I went with the red ones on my Lil Banana because didn't think the Amber would match. I wasn't too concerned about matching yellow lights with my Banana because you don't see the paint color that much at night anyway. I also like the way it lights up with spoiler lights and lights on King Tour Pak. Have one under each tour pak too. Of course I got these before I seen Jim's masterpiece! ;D

I'll email you the details on the light setup for your bike.

You guys are too much...if I was travieling around installing lights I would not get to ride. Maybe i need to get one of those trailers and load all of the tools up [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Hey Jim, it's not like you do much riding anyway with JC, me, etc, always over there getting something done  ;D
