Might be the last year of amateur football as we know it. Starting the season with a huge test for my Tigers.....gotta keep the faith.

WoW Yellow09SERG, I hope this is just 1st game jitters. Only game I have missed on my pool so far. I took the Sooners over a normally weak Green Wave and gave 30.......I only missed by 25 or so. Note to self: Never paint an opponents logo on the center of your field! (at the time I thought it was a great gesture)

I hope so too!! We suck on defense, offense wasn't impressive at all, but hey at least we have a field goal kicker! Not enough to compete in the Big 12 much less anywhere else. Pretty disappointing. In the world of Semi Pro ball, woops NCAA, we can't even buy a defense.
Bama still looks like Bama, so they will be something to deal with.your Tigers and the Dogs are getting ready to start. I am expecting a good one here.

That Sunshine will be back..It's only dark for a bit. I was actually impressed by both teams. Couple breaks and a couple mistakes would have changed that game. Week 1 and I thought Bama, Georgia, and Clemson all looked pretty good.

You left out Rattler & Co. Many woes on the defense, but Riley will work on that. Much like Clemson......they ain't dead yet.

Joel Klatt makes the big buck's, so I tend to listen when he talks. Seems he is impressed with the Sooners!

Maybe he saw a different game than I did. I didn't get to see Ohio State, but I would agree with him everywhere except my Sooners and I would have had them at 6th after everyone moved up to fill the #3 spot. Hope I get to see the game he saw this weekend.

On the bright side.....if there is one, the most important game is still to be played. If UofSC beats Clemson the Saturday after Thanksgiving the season is lost.

Unless your Alabama or Georgia, it looks like it might be a long season for all! I have been watching Arkansas a little bit too being they are somewhat local. They have looked decent so far for a team that I hadn't given a 2nd thought

I agree 100% with you. Bama & Jawja and then the rest of the teams. I'm a hardcore college fan so I gotta pull for somebody and NEVA could I pull for A or G, they are hated rivals(almost as much as the coots). For now I'm hoping OU or Arky stays competitive so I can pull for them in the CFP. Woefully I fear it's gonna be between Jawja & Bama.......but they will have to play each other in the SEC championship game. :oops:

Its early but I am thinking the SEC championship game will just be the first National Championship Game
