I have a 2001 SERG, if the cruise control assembly is Delphi, is it safe to assume my entire system is now Delphi? Thanks

Delphi was the OE supplier of that module (thus the name on the part). That in no way suggests the ignition system has been changed from Marelli to Delphi though.  In fact since the cruise module's part number ends in -98 you know it almost certainly has not.  That's still a pre-2004 serial bus module.
