1st Harley thinking of 08 FXDSE, (IAFF L-851)

Hey All,

Thinking of selling the metric and purchasing the blue FXDSE.  Looking for the good/bad of the bike.
Also lookin for other IAFF brothers.

Welcome from Central Maine. I have the FXDSE2 in blue and love it! I haven't had any problems with it yet and have just about 5000 miles on her. She's mostly stock. Only added luggage rack and backrest, and also an engine guard and lots of hot toppers. The only problem I do have is that I have to go to work, when all I really want to do is ride!

Welcome to the CVO site from wet Middle Mississippi. I have a 08 red FXDSE2 and love the bike. It is always the first one I ride when the weather permits. You will definitely enjoy the bike. It is quick to steer,a very responsive throttle, and a mean rumble at idle. Go for it!

Thats the bike, sure is sweet.  I even have the wifes approval, now I just need to do it!

What up!  I have a blue one and I love it! I put Caliber 2into1 exhaust,Fuel pak and lots of other little things on it. There are some issues with the 110 but nothing that should stop you from buying this sweet machine.

welcome to the site, yep nice ride go 4 it.

b aware cus of epa regulations the power of the bike is restricted, u will need new air filter/ exhaust and then a sert/ power commander to adjust the bike ecm, remember first find a good tuner then buy what he recommends from him.

Engine 10C...Welcome aboard ! Lots of great folks on this website ! I have an FXDSE2 2008 105th Anniversary that I would love to ride someday once I get the Motorcycle License, etc.. I ride it around in front of the house for now  :pineapple:
