Pics will come a little later. Really adds some more visual punch to the bike. I will say that the 10" bars make the stock mirrors useless.

Also, the bars physically seem to fit higher up towards the first bend after the mount. This causes them to hit the lower fairing panel.

I ordered a set of HD low profile mirrors.

Do you have any pictures of the 12" bars on youre bike. I am just about to order from Yaffe, and have them sent to the UK. Any advice on cable extensions along with some pictures would be great. I intend Installing them on my new 2012 model CVO Street Glide when I get it?

Thanks for the reply. This is the way to go. Like the 12" bars a lot. My next question is? I wanted to get hold of a set of Black powder coated bars, but I see in you post you have a set of Chrome bars for sale? do you still have them? The second question is what exactly will I require to make the change over ie cables etc. As I mentioned earlier I live in the UK, so do not want to make the expensive mistake of maybe ordering the wrong equipment and paying through the nose for it with the UK Import duties etc. I wont tackle this myself so will probably use a friend of mines shop to do the work. But they look great on your bike plenty of attitude!!. I also like to do a lot of miles per day as I cover a lot of rallies in Europe sometimes around 600 miles plus a day. Are the bars comfortable.

I have just sold my 2010 Spiced Rum, and loved the whole bike. Only real mods I done to that were to Install a Thundermax Tuner, & V&H pipes. Bike ran like a dream.

No problem with the questions.
I have already sold the other bars. Sorry. They were chrome also. I have seen some of the black ones on eBay in the past.
I had to change the clutch line (ours have a hydraulic clutch) and the brake line. You will need a adapter for the clutch so you can use a brake hose. There is a guy in the selling section that has one for sale right now.
Also you may have to extend some of the wiring. Mine was long enough with a little bit of relocating some of the connectors. I would recommend getting the wire extensions also. There is a guy on the forum here, his site name is hd-dude, name is Jim. He has a shop in California called Metal Dragon. If you contact him on here and tell him what you are doing, he will fix you up with a package. He has done a lot of these and knows exactly what is needed. It sure makes things easy.
As far as comfort, mine are great. I could not stand the stock bars. Made my shoulder hurt. At first I did not really like the bars but I found out that it was the seat I had that was the problem. It put me too close to the tank.

These look great ... I happen to be in Mt Vernon Il this weekend and stopped at Dales and they had a Krypto there on the floor that had these on there .. I have been interested in tryin a set bot wanted to see and feel .. I'm convinced .. next mod for me ..
I am interested in what HD-dude has that is related but don't see his name in directory .. Anybody got a lead for him ??

Just for info, I ordered mine from Dr V Twin. They had the 12" black powdercoated in stock and were cheaper than direct from Yaffe. They also had all of the cables made up for me by Magnum shielding in New York.
I was advised against the Yaffe kit as its apparently not so good.
Whole lot arrived in the UK in just over a week.
All being fitted next week so I'll post some pics when done!

Definitely recommend Dr V Twin. They've been great with all the orders I've given them.

Been thinking of doing this mod as well on my FLHX2. Anyone have an idea how tall the bars need to be to keep and utilize stock fairing mounted mirriors? I'm 6'2" with 34" inseam. Theres no where around here that I can find to "try them on". Thanks in advance.

As I see it .. if ya do the 12 ".. you will get above the mirrors and be able to look under your hands to see the mirrors.. The 10" seem to be in the way .. Jus sayin .. I am putting 12" on this week and intend on putting a center mount GPS bracket instead of the left location .. the monkey bars almost block the line of view when it is on the left .. will let ya know how it plays out ..

Does anyone have a part number for Centre GPS mount? I am also Installing 12" bars and would prefer GPS to be mouted in middle of fairing instead of left hand side position.

Called at Dealers today in UK, and he could not find any details of this mounting item?... Has any one got pictures of this Installed on bike.

There isn't an HD part for mounting center fairing. There's two choices offered. The left side inner fairing mount or the handle bar mount. Any center mount would have to be from a third party, if there is one, or your own fabrication.

Here is a pic of a bracket I jus did and will put on this weekend as a center mount GPS.. It is gonna mount with the wind shield on top of the inner fairing with some neoprene underneath so as not to rub .. I use a 3bag windshield bag. and it will be under it and up close to it on a slight angle for better view.. I liked this idea better than the moco offering for the left mount which will be somewhat behind the Yaffe monkey bars .. will update the install as it happens .. sooon .. your thoughts welcome .. sorry for bad color as it was taken on poker table .. LOL

here is qwik pic with phone showing 12 Yaffe bars with center mount GPS .. I am gonna redo the bracket for GPS so as to raise it up to clear the speedo/tack gauges.. Also .. after getting it all done , I see the fairing mount mirrors are somewhat obstructed by the hbar switches.. Sooo I will be replacing them with tribal mirrors from moco..
One thing I didnt notice while unpacking the monkey bars was ... These dam things come with ATTITUDE.. so far Im really pleased with the look and handling/comfort .. but thats jus my opinion .. it may vary , depending on individual driving habits.. LOL

Fantastic !! Like the look and position of the 12" bars. You have done a great job of the Install. Any advice or any probelms you noticed that I might find when doing the Install on my bike would sure be appreciated?..

Did you get the full kit from Yaffe, cables and extension kit or another aftermarket dealer. I have seen that a few people on the forum have mentioned getting shipments from else were. I Called Yaffe yesterday and looks like my parts will ship tomorrow from USA.

Sorry for the delay!

Some pics as promised - not great I'm afraid, they're just phone photos.
These are are the 12.5" Yaffes in black with Klockwerks 8.5" dark smoke screen. I found that the the fairing mirrors just about worked but the effort needed to use them was too much. I bought a set of HD Streamline collection mirrors which match quite nicely with the Rumble collection CVO stuff.

Glad I went for the 12" bars. Yours looks cool. Saw a lot of Street glides at Faaker See, this year and a few had the bars on. From the people I have spoken to they all say that the bars are really comfortable. Apart from the mirror issue, I want to mount my sat nav so I will have to try and mount it some were near to left of fairing but away from upright on the bars to hopefully give me a clear view of sat nav screen !!

It's not clear from these pictures but my Zumo 660 is dash mounted on the left.

The screen is partially blocked on the left hand side but not so much as it's become unuseable which is what I was worried about!
The pink line is still fully visible so navigation is still very simple and the bars and clutch cable can be mounted in such a way that they dont block too much off.

All in all - a great decision and so much more comfortable!

Bummer,I bought the kit from Yaffe. Oh well to late now, just have to use them, its sposed to have the steel braided lines so at least it'll match the bottom. It's too bad the Moco didn't add those from the get go seems like that's something that they shud hve done.Them I'm waiting for a spot and turn signal kit from Headwinds, when that comes I'll install then post some pics. Thanks again.
