We're looking at 4-10 inches by tomorrow night... not a blizzard but enough to make the commute "challenging".

Welcome VP!  We're right down the road from you in Matthews.  We always ride New Years Day no matter what the weather.  It's the first day of a new year and we want to start it off right!!
