For Bar's I like Paul Yaffe.  I have had them on two CVO road glides, have them on my 13 CVO King and have them on my 17 CVO Street glide.  The ones on my One of my road glides were black and the one on my 17 are black.  All have been 14" height for me.  I think they have a good width and wrist angle.

Thank you! How much did that run you and did you do it with HD? Also is that 2" bar?

I did same bars as Dave, very comfortable for me. I have 14 inch Chubby Reaper bars on my 12 Roadglide and feel about the same as the Yaffe bars to me. Putting on CFR slip ons Tuesday but in chrome

Bars are inch and a half. Did a bunch of upgrades when I bought bike so don't remember how much dealer charged for just the bars but not cheap as they had to run the wires.

A 1.5 bar.  Bars are about 400.  I can't say on labor as I negotiated it as part of my deal on the bike.  It did require longer wires and cables for brakes and clutch.

Very comfortable bars.  This is the 4th bike I have run these Yafee 14" monkey bars on.  Both my king and street glide have the now.

That helps thx. Some argue I should not have them too high due to the cold weather and your hands are not protected from the wind what is ur take on that? I am not a tall person 5 8 and everyone tells me I should not go higher than 12". I never even driven one with these bars are they easier to ride with or something I have to get use to?

Thx and sorry for the many questions

Had the 14 Yaffe's on my 07 Glide. Put the Harley 10" on my 17 CVO when I got it. Wished I'd went with at least 12's.

14 might be a bit tall for you but apes are very easy and comfortable to ride with. Anything over stock is going to put your hands in the weather so I think its more about what feels comfortable to you. Really no right or wrong answer. My brother in law is around 5.8 (so he claims..) and he likes the stock bars on his CVO Roadglide which I hate.
Never apologize for asking questions here, we all learn from each other and all happy to help!

12" and taller will put your hands in the weather.  Noticeably so.  60 is comfortable with light gloves on stock bars.  Hands are very cold at the same temperature with these 14".  That is why I had heated grips done at the same time.

For me the comfort of the 14" out weights the fact my hands are in the weather now.  Low 30's yesterday and I went for a ride.

I am 6 foot 1 inch.  I can ride the MSF box with these bars.  That is important to me as it means no issue with a U turn a public road, no need to stop and put a foot down, just ride the U turn.

12" may be a better fit for your.  However the bars can always be pulled back some towards the rider, which lowers hight a little and helps on reach.

Here is where I am at and I really need some help. I am confused on the difference of cost between 12" KST 650 out the door price no need for extended cables Vs. Assault 12" by Harley Davidson quote 1450 out the door price according to them I need to buy the extended cables and btw they look identical.
