I'm not sure how much they're going to protect the stretched bags and I feel for the first guy that finds out.
Regardless of that, they'll still help to keep the bike off of your leg in an accident.
Personally, I don't think the crash bar itself distracts from the look that much. It's those that wrap all the way around the bags (like an Ultra Classic has) that distract from the look of the SESG and
SERG. JMHO.
I tipped mine over in the garage (you know thought I heard the kick stand click into position) Scared me to death. It didn't damage the bags, just bent the clutch lever in a circle. I guess it landed just right and the bike landed on carpet. It did pin my leg under the bike. If I get the rear crash bars they will be black and Ill change the front to black also. If you lay it down the bag is toast. and your leg. I now have a passenger part time. so I guess Ill start with the rear bars.
