There have been several threads on this. 2 common possibilities.....first--bleeding the clutch and second (which is what worked for me) was changing to redline oil in the Primary and redline trans fluid with Shockproof in the trans. You could go to the dealer first and let them check it.

I changed all the fluids at 600 miles (engine, primary, trans) and all was/is well.  I couldn't find neutral either before that.  The clutch was not the problem for me.  Miles on the bike and different fluids will do it.

Mine got much better after the first 50 ~ 60 miles.  No adjustments needed.

Dealer had to bleed my clutch twice. It is a lot better but I think it may need one more. Changing fluids next week to red line and b&m trick shift it helped my other bikes.

Ditto. take it out for a good ride one day, put some miles & break in the seat and clutch at the same time.

Jim bled my clutch one time (after I bled it twice)......six or seven times in a row.  Neutral is like hot butter! :2vrolijk_21:

Ditto x3, I had the same problem with my previous CVO and my new  SESG. I sat there at the traffic lights going between 1st and 2nd watching the green light flash, then the traffic lights would go green before I got neutral. A few miles on it and not problem.

Whether it's the air in the hydraulics, or the high spots on the plates, it still all comes down to clutch drag.  Wearing off the high spots so it doesn't drag so much will help immensely, and if you have air in the fluid, getting that air out of the fluid will also help immensely.  Odds are, most CVO's have both issues straight from the factory.  IMHO, the dealer's should know by now to automatically bleed the clutch on all the CVO's during prep.
