CVO Street Glide exhaust vs. the non=CVO
« on: April 24, 2010, 09:15:57 AM »

Noticing a different exhaust system, are there any sound differences? I assume that both bikes had to meet the same sound guidelines.

I don't think you're going to be happy with any "stock" Harley exhaust.

My goal on this bike was to have a quiet exhaust that sounds like a Harley.  I went with the Fullsac baffles.

They're a little louder than stock and have a Harley sound but still quiet enough that I can hear my stereo at freeway speeds.  It also keeps the stock appearance (just in case the EPA starts checking for such things in the future), adds performance and is about the least expensive exhaust option.  All pluses in my eyes! :2vrolijk_21:

You won't want to be mistaken for a Lyxus in stealth mode.

You'll probably change the exhaust within a month or sooner. While you are waiting on her to arrive may as well start ordering your hwy pegs too so they will be here when she arrives.

You're going to want to change the exhaust on you bike for sure.  There's a ton of great information on this site to help you make up your mind and confuse you in the process :-\

Good luck! ;D
