The only reason I haven't, is because it's so hard to buy the one that came with our bike.  But you can buy that heavy breather.

I just installed the Heavy breather #29299-08 onto my 2007 FXDSE. The 110 medalion on the front is a restricted part which Harley will NOT distribute unless you have one to send in for replacement.

I personally still like the look.

Looks like you changes pipes as well.  What did you do for the fuel injectors?  Did you have them do a fuel pack?

Sorry for the delay .. I have been away !!!

Yes, I installed the Rinehart 2in1 and put on a PCIII with 02 eliminators installed. I then installed the heavy breather and had the bike tuned. 5000 miles later .. running great !!!!

What is the purpose of eliminating the O2 sensors?

The Power Commander does not use the O2 sensors. Thats the only reason. I love the sound and my tuner has done an excellent job over the entire range. From Canada down to California and back. Mountain passes, desert heat, sea level, etc .... I never noticed any problems at any time.

That would be a reason I would prefer the SERT. Closed feedback can eliminate a lot of driveability problems.

I had thought that too and because of that investigated the Thundermax and Racetuner. However, looking into both systems, the overall cost and tuning capabilities swayed me to the PC. I guess I lucked out with an exceptional tuner. The bike runs excellent through all the ranges and all the gears. Strong decel produces no pops whatsoever. Yes, if I change more components I need to get the map redone ..... but for me, it's worth it.

You will find on this forum that most recommendations here are to go with a product that a tuner you trust with your bike is the product to get.

I installed the heavy breather along with BR 2-1 pipes and a sert , and could'nt be happier. I love the looks personally, and I think the heavy breather helps to balance out visually a really beefy pipe like the big radius 2-1.

Hello, Nice bike, I have the same bike but in blue. Can you answer a few questions for me. With your pipe 2 into 1 did you have to take off the passenger foot pegs my deal said i had too but it looks like you still have yours on. And i was wondering what they sounded like, I was going with the big radius but i seen these on you tube and they sound deeper then big radius.

Thanks  alot

Does this give you more room for your leg to reach the peddles or less room

thanks for your response

fxdse,

I wan wondering the same thing binger was asking. I have your exact bike, paint and all. I now have V&H Bigshots with slash ends. Was considering the 2 into 1 thing, but want it to look right on the Dyna. Any problems or weird crap needed to put those pipes on? Is there a bracket all the way in the back somewhere? Just wanted some more info, ya get a chance, holler back.

If it is the Rinehart's you are looking into ... no weird chit at all. It took me approx 1 hour in total for removal and new installation. Foot pegs and everything were fine. The bracket bolts on to the tranny and extends back on the underside of the muffler portion. I have more ground clearance than the stock dual and again. the fit was perfect.

I did have my end cap go "bronze" in color and called Rinehart directly. They said it was a defect and the new ones do NOT do that. They sent me a new one all at their cost and it has remained black.

All in all .... sound and performance is excellent. I am starting to see more of them up here in Canada. I personally like the stretch look on the DYNA with the swingarm and all.

Installed it on my 08 SEUC and what a nice difference in performance. Plenty of leg room and just had her re-dyno'd this weekend!! On just the basic old 110 motor I am developing 99 HP and 110 in Torque. Pleny of power for this guy!! 8) 8) 8) 8)

I'm returning similar results and as well ... very happy. Doesn't it have a great sound? I plan on running this setup for many years to come. How is everything else working on the bike? Any of these dreaded issue people talk about? I did in fact get a bit of oil around the rear head gasket and being paranoid ..... went to my dealer and they fixed everything for me and it runs excellent. I am very, very pleased.

With the reinhart's and adding the HB intake it gave the bike a deeper throat sound. The bike is running so good it's scary!! Now it's time to go to Northern New Mexico where it isn't so frickin HOT!! 109 today!! Not looking forward to the ride home this afternoon!! 8) 8) 8) 8)

Holy crap :-) Last summer down in Vegas it hit 121 degrees and you could here my tires pealing ... however, even with all the heat, the bike ran great (no oil cooler) however, I was a little worse for wear.

Take care and enjoy the ride.

Thanks! ;D I'm running a Fuel Pak with mine but having a hard time getting the setting right for the exhaust I put on. Didn't show any settings for Caliber 2into1 pipes :confused5: Once the bike warms up and I 'm at a stop the idle is at 1000 but it just sounds weird. When I turn the throttle it has a hesitation. I was wondering if the SERT has adjustment or just plug and go? Thanks again for the info

The SERT is NOT plug and go. The trick is finding a good tuner. What I like is when I plan trips .... I can go into any harley dealership and most can do adjustments if so needed. I carry a USB stick with my map on it. I was getting similar with my Power Commander but my dealership wouldn't tune it. So, I went to a SERT and never looked back. It runs better than factory with more power and extremly smooth.

You could in fact install it yourself and register it with your ECU and ... I could always give you my map which should be pretty damn close? The unit itself is somewhere around $450.00 US I think?
