Put news tires on 09 FLHR and adjusted the drive belt three different times.  Did it think to much of it and started my 5hr ride.  Stopped to rest and checked tension and found belt very tight.  Lucky the HD shop down the street.  Explained my situation, mechanic checked things out and basically found same situation.  He was hearing a clicking noise coming from tranny internally and suggest perhaps a steady bearing oblonged creating the problem of unable to adjust for correct tension on belt.  My solution new DD7 from baker.   Also purchased a axle nut lock from big bear choppers.  Anyone with similar issues?
