Started putting together my stretched tank. Just have to let it cure over night then clean out the gas filler and gauge hole. The fit up the seat and off to paint!

I removed the stock compensator of my 2010 FLHXSE.  After 42k+ miles, it finally started talking back to me after I had a Fuel Moto 126" Outlaw engine installed last fall.

After that, I ordered new parts:
  • Baker Armored Attitude Primary Chain Tensioner
  • Evolution Industries 34T Solid Sprocket
  • Deka Replacement Battery (Coming up on 8yrs with the stock battery!)

Installed the Evo Ind 34T sprocket and Baker adjuster last night...Tonight I'll have it all finished up.

I hope you have better results than I with the Evo Ind sprocket. Vibrated terrible over 50 mph, both my arms and legs.

Dropped it off after work at the dealer. Left the house this morning and it was 55* out. 12 mile ride to work and the coolant light came on. Just had the 20k service done last week. Hopefully it's just a wire that got knocked loose somehow.

That's a novel idea!

Have been finding that "first one then the other plan" to work really well Jock.  It keeps the bikes happy.  It's bad when one of your bikes gets jealous.

This morning took the Road King about 35 miles to get to a breakfast spot a couple miles from the house.  This evening the Road Glide will ride to a taco shack at a lake.  It'll be 100 mile round trip.  Tomorrow?  Rinse and repeat.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thank you.  Rode for about 325 miles on Sunday, all types of conditions - mountain passes, country roads, interstate, etc.

It's very smooth and I'm pleased with the results.  I do believe the S&S crankshaft in the bottom end contributes greatly to the satisfactory results.

Picked it up today. They put 25 miles on it in 80* degree heat and couldn't get it to come back on. Fans are working as they should. Might have been a burp in the coolant as my tech said he had to add a little last week during the 20K service.

yesterday, met up with serdvd6 and his little lady and rode down to Hocking Hills, Ohio to meet up with Maczter and a few other buddies from the Dayton area for lunch. We ended up with 325 miles for the day. Great weather and nice roads. Well, the tar snakes on the one leg got a little interesting but we just slowed the bikes down a little.
