Just a short local ride yesterday on the Red Pepper, 165 miles.

Waited....for a call from the dealer. Had the engine rebuilt last March( ESP for $56 for a total $10,500 CDN)....I reported it as noisy....was told it's not.......it smokes and uses oil......leaks at bottom of jugs......it's torn down now.....waiting for a report.

Wanted to go to a different dealer...but......labour would be at my expense.

Waiting on parts......HD parts supply has apparently gone "global"...and the rail blockades....are making parts take some extra time to ship

I'll be dropping Red Pepper off at the dealer today.  They have to troubleshoot the volume control for the left handle bar.  Replaced the left side switch unit and that did not fix it.  I'm guessing its in the BCM.  Also going to have them look at speedometer as it has drips on the inside, the many model year issues that still is not fixed.

Like the title says, what did you do to or on your CVO today?

Well the water pump finally gave out on my 15 CVO Limited. Parts ordered.
Also one of my speakers on the front stopped working. Getting all fixed up before riding season is in full swing.

Looks very good Phreakyz.  I did the Kona heated grips on my Red Pepper as soon as I got the bike, they match pretty good.  The work great, headed grips are a must for me as I ride year round.

Thanks Guys!   Dave you talked me into the heated grips!   They were never really on my radar!   I am pretty impressed with them so far.   They get real hot.   Have to set it around 2 or 3 for comfort.

2019 CVO Road Glides did not get factory heated grips because they came with the Defiance Collection and Defiance does not offer any heated grips.    Had to go with the Kahuna Collection.    Close enough in appearance.

The 2019 CVO Street Glides came with the Kahuna Collection and with OE Heated Grips.

Yes,  The CVO Road Glide's have never come with heated grips until the 2020 1/2 bike.  The 2015 and 2016 CVO Road Glide ultra did come with heated grips.

The first CVO street glide to come with heated grips was the 2018, Harley said the 2017 CVO street glide was getting them, but it did not.

I have never had mine over 2, as the do get hot.

CVO road glides never came with heated grips even when the collection on the CVO Road Glide was the CVO Limited or CVO Street Glide.  I know as I added them to my 12 CVO road Glide using them from the CVO Limited, did the same in 13 for My CVO King.  And again with my 17 CVO Street Glide.

18 is the first year the CVO Road Glide used a different collection than the other CVO touring bike, 19 followed suit.  2020 they all use the same collection.
