Thanks Janine

Went for a swim there one hot August day years back.

Which explains pretty well why I like to ride beside rivers and streams.

Hey UFO_HOG is the pic under the caption Couple of mine..... taken on N Elwood Rd. in Wonder Valley?  Just a guess...

The wife and I rode hwy 49 from Oakhurst to Vinton in late October, no pics tho (rats).  Came home via Tioage Pass thru Yosemite (in the snow for a little texture)  just before they closed the road for the season.  That is a really great ride end to end.

We also like riding the roads with no center line.  It kinda feels like you have really left it all behind.

Well, technically we are Green & Gold (Packer) fans, but since she works for New Orleans HD,
we gotta go Black & Gold, but she does get to do this at most of the home games....

(This one is from the Packers-Saints game)

We rode through many passes ... it was an amazing experience.  Most of the passes are only open for a few months in the summer; they are closed due to snow most of the year.
