We managed to teach Keyn 1 Mexican phrase, "La cuenta por favor" (check please). ;D He did well with that line I must say! Well this guy taught us the rest of the line! "La cuenta por favor y un policia!" That went over very well for us the rest of the week! ::) ;)

And in front of THE H U M M E R with Marcos, Binx's friend and our tour guide for the day! He took us to the greatest, most remote spots anywhere! Bet he's still regrettintg some of it too!!! Crazy Gringo NYer!!! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: ::) ??? :o ;D ;)
Good a place as any to stop for awhile and keep youze in suspense! I'll give it a rest for now. If ya got a really easy way of me posting a video link, I got some Hummers Keyn took for ya'll! :2vrolijk_21:
Later!

-
So wheres the story of this "incident" I keep reading about?? :nixweiss: :)
You're a good straight man Rob! :2vrolijk_21:
Well, we can get the video another time, but for now, on with the story! ;)
So there we were, in search of yet another Mexican Restaurant, and more beer! We looked into some Tour Packages that looked OK. But when we heard the prices,, we thought it best to rent a Mexican and a car, and make our own damn tour! So we did! :o
We got ourselves an H3 Hummer for a day at $220 USD. 400 pesos in gas and another 500 pesos to rent the Mexican, and we were in business for the day! :huepfenjump3:
Marcos is a local that Binx has been friends with awhile, and he offered to take us around to some really remote spots. The story continues from here!
Hoist! 8)
On a dirt road, about an hour and a half from the main road, to get to these beaches. En route, a nest hanging from a tree shows the length of it. How long it gets determines how much rain they'll get!
-
!
-
POISON!!! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:
-
Don't think you'll climb this to get that pumpkin! :nixweiss:
-
Roadside stop!
-
Burro!

Typical roadside growth!
-
Pulling up to the beaches!
-
The lil town from here, Tehuamixtle, a lil fishing village!

!
-
This mighta come in handy later on!
-
;D
-
Our very own 10 mile long beach!!! :2vrolijk_21:
-
!
-
!
-
Almost to the "story" now. Here's a commercial for Hummer on the beach!
Now the story starts when Marcos, who's been driving us around in the Hummer the last 3 hours and gets us to this beach. He gets to the end and says we have to walk from there to the beach. I look at the end of tis "road" and it goes up at a 45 and straight back down onto the beach. Marcos says we can't get down there. I say BS, we're in a Hummer. I take the wheel from there. I squeeze thru the narrown path, point the nose in the air, get over the top and roll us onto the sandy beach! Holy crap! Now what?
I say F it, we're in a Hummer, we can drive in this chit! I've got it locked in low 4WD and I'm in a Hummer! We can go anywhere in this thing, right? :nixweiss: ;D
So down the beach we head in the Hummer and find us this nice spot to hang out!
-
Made for the beach! ::)
-
Right?
-
!
-
Stupid gringo. ;D
OR...should I say--Damn city boy
-
Not sure Keyn and Marcos were convinced yet!
-
!
-
!
-
!
-
!
-
Startin to get a lil bored, but I got a great idea up my sleeve! :o :nixweiss:
-
What's he gonna do now?
-
With miles of virgin beach?
-
DONUTS!!!!! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:
HeHe!!! Next 3 were the videos. We'll figure that out later! But here's the end result of the donut! I'll fill the middle in with the pics now! ;)
-
Oops!!!
HeHe!!! Keyn watched me do perfect donuts, throwing huge rooster tails, until I buried it up to the frame!!! :o ::) ;D
No more donuts for awhile!!! :-[ :P :)
-
Keyn sure was worried about getting outta that remote spot! He kept calling me a dumbass NYer! I couldn't stop laughing my ass off!!! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:
-
Then out of nowhere comes 4 Mexicans, a quad, 4 planks, and 2 shovels! Now I never found myself ever needing 4 Mexicans, a quad, 4 planks, and 2 shovels before! But Dios Mios, I needed exactly just that at that moment! And that's just what we got!!! ;D ;D ;D
-
Keyn wasn't exactly thrilled, but started realizing we might somehow be getting that POS out!
-
Somehow!
-
HeHe!!! And we did!!! Never doubted it for a minute! :P :D ;)
-
But he still wanted to kill me anyway! Hmmm, wonder why? ::) ;) :)

Shucking our Oistiones!

And my last pic! From our balcony again! Saying bye to the Pirate Ship! ???
We had a fantastic week with Keny and Cheri. If yer wondering why this thread is here, it's because thjis vacation wouldn't have been possible without CVOHarley! Our family of lifelong friends we've made over the last few years thru this Great Place, allows us to vacation with them even without a formal CVO GTG!!! Badges, we don't need no stinkin badges!!! ;D :2vrolijk_21: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:
Now back to the cabin fever like the rest of ya'll!!! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Howie thanks for sharing the pics. :2vrolijk_21: I have never had a desire to go to Mexico however those pictures have me thinking a little differently now. ;)
There's a method to being in Mexico. Sleep late. Wake. Coffee. Dump. More coffee. Breakfast at a Mexican restaurant. Dump. Pool and beers. More beers. Go to town to have a couple of beers and look for a place to have supper, preferably a Mexican restaurant. Go back to the room take a siesta, and a dump. Go to a Mexican restaurant and have a few beers. Tomorrow is the same thing.
-
3 dump days...now that is livin good! Looks like fun...when is the next trip?
-
Thanks for sharing, great pictures. Howie gettin stuck in the sand and on video to boot, Priceless. Thanks to the Mexican Calvery, diggin by hand sucks.
-
It was really a plot by the N.Y.C. noise cops to keep Howie down there. Now they're gonna have to deal w/ him.
-
Good photos and story!! That was great.

It's best feature is just point and shoot. And with that you can do well.
