1300 miles from home at the end of September with a few mountian passes to cross before getting home...

WOW.  Being uninformed of the area, how much of it can you ride?

We rode through many passes ... it was an amazing experience.  Most of the passes are only open for a few months in the summer; they are closed due to snow most of the year.
