Looks nice :2vrolijk_21: .

One potentially helpful hint to those that do this next.  NV may not have run in to it.  But it's a good idea to hold the hinge on the outside (painted side) of the tour pak or lid as you drill the last rivet on each piece.  The drill bit can grab it and spin the whole thing when there is no other second position holding it in place.  Metal pieces spinning against your painted parts could make the entire job very unpleasant.
Very good point. Thanks  :2vrolijk_21:

That's one of those things anyone who works with tools always knows, always remembers and never forgets; right up until the time they don't one day.  I've put on seven or eight sets of the other dress up hinges that so many here have used.  Never forgot and never slipped.  Except the day we were doing Scot Cuthbertson's.  Dammit!

Didn't ugly anything up.  No marks.  But I might've been trading tour pak's with Scot if I'd really screwed it up.

I put these on the 10 and are 1/2 of the price of the billet ones 2Lane was nice enough to get us (group buy) for my 05 before these came out.  The screws on the these are a lot easier to work with.  I didn't have any help either and the straps are a great idea but I installed them just as the MOCO said with just laying the top in the hinges and all worked out but was sweating it.

I could not be happier the way way this project turned out. This was a 3  :drink: project for me. You would think that HD would put this kind of hinge on CVO's but then what would I do in the man cave garage. Oh, I don't want to hear any chit about how dirty my cave is. I just need a little time to get things back in place. LOL :2vrolijk_21:

Just when you thought you bought a bike that had "everything", they go & make more options...WTF !!! :nervous:

Another little helpful point, removing the lid completely before drilling out the hinges made things a little less....uhhh....intense and easier to manage.  Just use 2 torx drivers and remove the pivot bolts......and the cable of course.

When did you install the amber LED's under the muffler(s).     :)

Yep, removing the lid was a good move for me too.

Quite a while ago....the trick was getting them to only come on in the corners.  :huepfenlol2:

I've got the HD hinges on mine and they do look great. For the price they should be standard on the CVO ULtras.

They should be standard on all the tourpacks....I put them on mine and was amazed how chinzy the oe stuff was.....
