Too many free streaming services that play a better mix of music.  I gave XM the boot, a year later my receiver is still getting signal.  I'm on an 08 so the only advantage is that I can use the handlebar controls to change XM channels.

they will try that every year. I just got $4.99/month for the bike after they told me it was not available....so I asked to be transferred to the cancellation dept so I could cancel both mine and my wife's trucks.....all of a sudden the $4.99 deal was available!! It's a miracle.............bastards......

Tried that with the 2 Jeeps and the bike in '12.....NO deal to be had!!! I was buying a GPS at the time and 'no deal' helped me to decide on a 660 instead of the 665 with sat.  Sat reception sucks here in BC any way......too many trees and mountains  making it cut out too often.....that's also the case in the Wife's various demos ....on a known route it cuts out at the same spot in every vehicle.

Agree on too many stearming services, agree Sirius music is lame, only benefit for me is living in the mountianbs and getting cell service while riding in same. Cell Vs Sat is no match, Having said that, I still keep Ipod on bike to listen to good music, because Sirius stinks with their music line ups.

Don't forget to add cancellation date to yur calendar, because they will auto renew at full price on the year anniversary. Been there and took hours taking to an outsourced customer service rep who kept appologizing, but did not understand what I was saying.

Streaming is not a real option for me.  Almost any ride I do is in and out of Cell Service.

X2 on the cancellation date on the calendar.....need to call one week before to renew manually to work a deal.

Had XM for 17 years now on all vehicles. We like it and I think it is the best radio service available. Streaming is to much trouble. I tried it on a trip in our newest car recently and it is just not a choice in my opinion. The past 11 months I have paid $22 and change a month for 3 vehicles and we constantly use the app indoors for home music and sports. Great product.
