Been lurking in the background awhile. I've enjoyed gathering information from you members to help me make my decision. The final decision has been made. Will be picking up the 2010 Ultra Burnt Amber next week. I'm 6'4" and was doing a lot of research on handlebars. Decided on the Ergo Backs. We'll see how it goes. I was hoping you fellas might be able to point me to another thread or perhaps offer some opinions on after market slip-ons or baffles.

Looking for a nice deep rumble but I don't want to overpower the sophistication of the bike with too much noise.

Thanks.

Congrats on the 2010 SEUC. I think you're going to really like the bike once you get it setup to your preferences. I know I really like mine and I have about 2200 miles in just a couple of months.

Here's a thread on relocating your floorboards you might find helpful as I'm 6'4" and found the stock position very uncomfortable.

Here's a thread I found very useful in replacing my stock baffles with Fullsac 2.25" baffles as well as removing the catalytic converter. I sent it out to Steve at Fullsac as a part of my engine build. I really like the sound of the larger baffles and no cat.

Lastly here's a thread on the work I've done on my 2010 SEUC so far. The build is done and it runs fantastic from my perspective but it's still not fully tuned (it's currently 110hp/110tq however it still has yet to tuned by an experienced pro).

All the other work referenced in the thread below is now complete and if you're interested in more specifics or watch-outs on any of the mods I've made, just let me know.

Good luck and let the mods begin.

WOW! Thanks fella's. I don't think I've ever received such a warm welcome on other forums. Look forward to sharing ideas. By the way, I live just outside Wilmington NC, that's on the coast. Been riding Harleys for 15 years. Sold my '07 RK last year and have gone without a scoot since. I've decided I need to keep a bike in the family and won't do that again.

However, it's all worked out because I'm pumped about all the upgrades on dressers since then. Haven't had an Ultra since late 90's so it's a real thrill to get back on the big guy.

Thanks again and I definitely will post some photos.
