Title: How To Create A Signature....

The following will be instructions for creating a signature in your posts.

1. Click on "Profile" button at the top of the screen to open your profile (see pic here (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=17414.msg277581#msg277581)).

2. Once your profile is open click on "Forum Profile Information" (see pic here (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=17414.msg277583#msg277583)).

3. Scroll down to "Signature" (see pic here (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=17414.msg277584#msg277584)).

4. To the right of "Signature" will be a text box where you will enter the information to be displayed in all your posts.

5. Once you've entered the information click on "Change Profile" at bottom of screen to save changes you've made (see pic here (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=17414.msg277586#msg277586)).

Notes:
You can use any of the SMF Codes that are available to use in posts in creating your signature (SMF Bulletin Board Code (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?action=help;page=post#bbcref)). What I have found is the easiest way to create a signature is to hit the reply button in any thread, create the signature as if you were posting it (Do Not Hit The Post Button) because all the SMF Code Tags are available there (see pic here (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=17414.msg277955#msg277955)). You then can spell check and preview it to make sure it's what you want, and if it is just copy/paste that into your signature.

Pictures should not be extremely large for signatures I wouldn't recommend anything larger then 350W X 200L. The pictures are embedded in your signature by using the "image" tag which means they will have to be hosted somewhere on the internet.
