Title: Blown main fuse ?!?..
Post by: cmcarr88 on October 14, 2018, 03:49:36 PM
Started up my ‘14 SERK and let her warm up. Started riding down the road. About a quarter mile down the road the battery light came on then I lost all power. I checked everything and finally found a blown main fuse. I went and got another one and switched it out. Everything powered up as normal, no battery light. As soon as I started the bike it died. Checked the fuse again and it was blown again .....  :confused5:

Any ideas ..... never a issue prior and just road it 250+ mile two days ago .....

if only the main fuse blowing, then likely a short on the battery cables.  Follow them to ensure nothing is rubbing on the frame somewhere.

Also, do you have a battery charger maintener quick connector?  These often don't have fuses.  Maybe this wire is rubbing somewhere
