Awesome race. Even a turbo running.

Damn, wish i would have known it would have been a nice little road trip up there to see that.  Use to up to Laguna Seca on Ducati's (that was murder on the wrists) for world Superbike events.  Glad to see someone start racing these bikes and as a added bonus it should help with overall bike refinement...if its gonna break, it should break out there on the track.

I hope it catches on but at the least it should get HD fired up. Two Indians and they come in 1st and 3rd. There is a reason S&S chose Indian for this race.

I followed the race and found this interesting.  The two Indian Challengers were entered by S&S and Roland Sands.  Tyler O’Hara, the winner,  was the S&S rider and had to have his Challenger detuned because it had too much power for the track.  The third place bike was the Roland Sands Challenger.  The attached text has been floating around some of the Facebook groups.  Sands said their engine was bone stock with only a different exhaust...and they finished third.

I really enjoyed watching this. I Hope they do more. Watching touring frames carve corners was awesome.

I wanted to go carve corners after watching it. Did anyone expect the challenger to be that dominant?

That’s FakeNewz. If JCZ was there, he’d be the one with a camera around his neck pulling alongside the other racers and taking pictures of them for his album.

Rather be doing it than watching it huh Alan?  Let's ride!

You guys greatly exaggerate the way I ride.  I'm a dainty rider!   I will admit though, it got my adrenaline flowing.   :P

79 Gillam is proof that there's nothing wrong with the handling on a batwing fairing.  Those issues are all the wild imagination of RG owners.  I've rode batwing bikes all over North America in all kinds of weather and have never found it to be a problem.

Great video OBB, thanks a bunch for posting it!

I’d like to see the Eagle Riders get together on a road race track and have at it, on their daily ride of course.
