Auxiliary lamps with OEM fairing
« on: November 12, 2011, 07:27:52 PM »

Has anyone installed the auxiliary lamps on the Softail Convertible while still using the OEM fairing?

Do you have a picture of the bike without the fairing? It looks great with the fairing but the size of the auxiliary .ights seems massive comparison to the main lit. I agree with though, the OEM light is useless and I need something to let me ride at night.

This is what sold me putting them on. It looks good with the Fatboy windshield also.
And the LED's I put in place of the normal driving lamps make a big difference at night.

Thanks for the help. Last couple of questions, I see you had to do a mod from a guy called HD Addict. I looked the guy/company up and can't find him. Any help there?

Also, saw your note on replacing the windshield with a new 2012 version. Did you gets and did it really solve the buffetting?
