HD flash drive

Just picked up my 2014 CVO Limited and got a silver flash drive with it instead of the gold key. I am told the 2015 CVOs  don't come with it. If that's true why not?  No one can seem to answer that question.

2014 CVO's came with flash drive. 2015 CVO's come with the Gold Key again.

No gold key with the 2014 cvo limited. Got a Willie G skull drive. Want a gold key for prosperity.  :xmas:

I personally find the flash drive a lot more practical than another gold key.  I submit that the MoCo should provide both.

The 09 CVO Fatbob came with a gold key that sits gather dust on the shelf, worthless to me. The 2014 CVO Limited came with a flash drive that I use every time I ride. I don't need trinkets.

I got a gold key with my 2011.5 Ultra and the flash drive with my 2014 Limited. Flash drive much more useful. Key still sits in box on shelf. Flash drive used daily on new bike :-\

I got the flash drive as well but as my first CVO I would like the coin and key as well.  If it sits on my shelf so be it but why scrimp on something like that on a $40K bike....

Not to veer too far off topic, but how much space is on the flash drive?
I also have a gold key from my flhxse3 that i no longer own, fits ignition #3783hd.

Dr.D I agree with you. My first cvo was in 2012 and I got a gold key...hell I would be hard pressed to try and find the thing.  I've seen guys who wear them on a gold chain around their necks...if that is what they are used for then I am glad I don't know where mine is.
