dead lawnmower

The following was too funny not to share with someone.  In part of the AP feed that just streamed across.  Title was something like "Angry Man Kills Lawnmower."  I wanted to do this to a weedeater just last week.  Here goes:

Fri Jul 25, 6:17 PM ET

MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee man was accused of shooting his lawn mower because it wouldn't start. Keith Walendowski, 56, was charged with felony possession of a short-barreled shotgun or rifle and misdemeanor disorderly conduct while armed.

According to the criminal complaint, Walendowski said he was angry because his Lawn Boy wouldn't start Wednesday morning. He told police quote, "I can do that, it's my lawn mower and my yard so I can shoot it if I want."

A woman who lives at Walendowski's house reported the incident. She said he was intoxicated.

Walendowski could face up to an $11,000 fine and six years and three months in prison if convicted.

A call to Walendowski's home went unanswered Friday morning.

I think if I were contemplating shooting something, it would be the Harley and not the lawnmower.  Think about it.  When the POS Harley doesn't run or run right, you get stranded somewhere or you miss out on a ride you really looked forward to.  When the lawnmower won't start or run right, you sit back down in the lawn chair with a cold one and tell the better half "can't mow the lawn babe, damn lawnmower won't start".

I bet the ACLU defended the lawn mower afterall it was a Lawn Boy. Next they are going to get the name changed to Lawn Attendant as so not to offend anyone in the future.
