Floorboard extenders
« on: August 16, 2023, 11:01:30 AM »

Hi all,

I decided to add some goodies to my 22 Wicked Orange and ran into an interesting issue. I purchased the Kuryakyn Floorboard Extender that gives you an extra inch or so room. I have installed these previously on other CVO's. Anyway, I removed the right side floorboard (throttle side) and there already were 1 inch spacers installed. I had never seen this before on my prior CVO's. In any event I could not install the new spacers as the new screws were not long enough. Upon inspection there were no spacers installed on the left side floorboard

I also installed the Soft Brake extended pedal (w +1) and the floorboard and brake pedal seemed to be lined up.

Anyone know anything about this?

Ted

I may have found the reason why my CVO already has the floor board extenders installed. Last year I added V&H Power duals. I am assuming that the installer had to add the extenders so the boards did not hit the header pipe. Just posting this in case it helps someone at a later time.
