Yes, especially where it is hot and humid...the LCP would be my preferred carry down here, I hear tell it fits in the front pocket nice..small cal but I would not one in the belly from it... ;)

Yeah, back before I decided to give all my guns away for a coupon for 1/2 off a movie ticket or maybe it was a ham sammich (?), that little LCP was nice & light & could have carried it anywhere - front pocket, back pocket, easy vest carry.  Wish Ruger made a 9mm LCP - have seen the Diamondback in 9 but they want a lot of $$ for it - not for me of course but for anybody who doesn't use 1/2 off movie coupons or ham sammichs for protection.....

Picked up a couple to the collection:
SR9C Ruger
P238 Sig

Both shoot sweet but just nothing like my Taurus 357 I got in 1988.  Love that gun

....and the Sig

These are the stock photos from the Ruger and Sig websites respectively as I don't normally take pictures of my arsenal.

Those with Kimber Ultras for a year or two now. Fire more then 500 rounds through it?
Can you shoot a box or two comfortably and still want to shoot more?

I have been trying to get a Springfield XDs locally but the pricing is either just ridiculous or they are not available.
There are 2 Kimber's at a local GS that are nearly unused that I am now considering.

I have 2 Kimber Ultra CDP's and I love these pistols.  I bought this gun instead of the Springfield XD because the Kimber came with night sites.  I have shot 100 rounds at my range in one setting and had no problem.  I have a speed loader for the magazine because I can't shove more than 5 rounds in the mag without assistance.  You won't be disappointed in the Kimber.  Very well made.

Duane...how about a Sig C3 in .45?  Good compromise, IMO.  Shoots real nice too.

I carry either the Springfield XDS or Glock 33 (357 sig) I'm really impressed with the XDS design & how well it shoots w/o a ton of recoil

This is one piece of my little collection.  It's an 1869 Webley RIC.  (Royal Irish Constabulary) They were carried by the Police in Ireland for many years.  It is believed this is one of the pistols carried by General Custer when he lost the Battle of Little Big Horn. (Not this one, but one like it.)  It is a .442 caliber.  Anyone know where to obtain these rounds?

I believe this pistol to be one of the earlier production models, even though manufactured for 30 years.  The tell is the acorn shaped ejector rod end on the later models as pictured in the article below.
