Four of us went for a ride yesterday. Only three came back. I had to personaly deliver the message to his wife too.
He was a big man with an even bigger heart. He didnt live a day for himself, always trying to help others.
RIP Vlad, I miss you already.

He was on a trike and didnt make a sharp turn on a twisty road. The rest was pure luck (or lack of it): he hit one of the two trees on the side of the road and then a big rock (also the only rock we could find).

These stories are alway sad to hear, but when your there as you said, 4 left and only 3 came home.....that really hits home. I wish you, the other riders, and the family to find peace in all this! Good Luck and God Bless!

May the Lord continue to bless and keep Vlad's family. It's a great loss when you lose a close friend but I know he and his family were blessed to have you as a friend. My prayers to the family and friends.

So sorry- terrible having to be there and witness it. I hope you get through it in time, and at least Vlad left us while he was doing something he loved.

Thanks guys for all the support.
Funeral was today. Lots of bikes. I bet he was looking from above and loved what he saw. had a few good laughs remembering stories about him. This one time, at a restaurant, when all of us got our beef burgers already and Vlad's chicken sandwich wasn't ready yet (he was always the hungriest and the last one to get his food), he called the little waiter dude and said with heavy Russian accent: "I understand, cow is a big animal, easy to kill. Chicken is a little animal hard to kill. I will kill your chicken, ok?" The waiter nearly sh$t his pants he was so scared.

Just saw this. So sorry to hear of Vlad's death. He sounds like he was a great guy with is super sense of humor. May he rest in peace and may you and his loved ones find comfort knowing he is with our Lord.
